Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have given alot of my spare time training to raise funds for St Johns Ambulance in training to run the London Marathon, sadly last year I had to have a hysterectomy 4 weeks before the marathon, and then further surgery, which deferred my place to this year.  I have continued to train and raise funds after my recovery but have been further hindered by dreadful personal problems, I am determined to find the strength and continue to raise the funds for this worth while charity, who save many lives.  In a way St Johns helped saved mine, I had lost my enthusiasm to continue  with life in general without my husband, but receiving the support and encouragement to run for St Johns I found something to keep me focused. This worthwhile charity represent 46 counties providing a wide range of care and educational services, and provide cover at times such as the London Bombings and the floods.  All funds go towards training volunteers, keeping an ambulance on the road, heartstart machines to resuscitate patients following a heart attack, buy and equip further ambulances. etc etc.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you so so much, please read the St Johns website for further information on how your money can help!
