In memory of John Corden

Story

I gained my place for the London marathon through my running club, Shelton Striders and had no obligation to raise funds for a charity in order to secure a marthon place.

However, the more training I did, the more I wanted to run my first marathon for a purpose and in memory of my father, John, who loved the outdoors and especially hiking around Derbyshire and the Peak District. I wanted to choose a charity that reflected and celebrated his life and the Peak & Northern Footpaths Society (PNFS) was the perfect choice.
