Call us crazy or easily excitable, but my Mum and I have signed up to represent the Quintessentially Asia-Pacific team at the annual Quintessentially Foundation bike ride in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.  This year, from 14-17th June, we will ride the 300 miles from London to St David’s Head, to raise awareness and funds for the great work carried out every day at Maggies Cancer Caring Centres.

With the clock quickly-counting down to the big ride, we are asking for your generous support to help us reach our ambitious target of GBP 6,000.

Whilst most of you know that Mum and I are passionate about staying fit, we've never embarked on anything this crazy before (especially after not having ridden a proper bike in over 5 years!), but we are doing this in aid of a charity close to our hearts – Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres – and in honour of Mum’s brother Kelvin, who passed away from nasopharyngeal carcinoma and subsequently melamona several years ago.  We feel incredibly lucky to  have the legs and lungs to carry us through the 300 miles of this ride, and share the mission and vision of Maggie's along the way, which is simply to empower people to live with, through and beyond cancer.
