Only a few weeks training left before the challenge is on! You can continue to sponsor me the whole time I'm in china cycling if toe would like to help raise a bit more! Thanks again everyone- I've loved the fundraising thanks to all you good guys who have helped out and been so supportive. Xx

The Pirate Party Night was a great success - thanks to all of you who helped to top up the charity treasure chest!! As you can see - we have hit the target, but we still have till the end of Feb to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity - every penny counts and can help make a real difference!!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my web page. A big thanks to all of you who have supported me so far!!

In May 2011 I will be joining Professor Robert Winston on a 450 km charity cycle in the Beijing province, China to fund groundbreaking medical research undertaken at the Wolfson and Weston Research Centre for Family Health, which is based in London.

Funds raised will help to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions which cause genetic diseases, miscarriage, infertility, cancer and brain damage. The prevalence of difficulities experienced is quite shocking and very real: 1 in 18 babies are born prematurely, 1 in 4 women miscarries her baby, 1 in 175 babies are stillborn and up to 250 babies are dying every week in the UK from complications during pregnancy. Taking part in “Cycle China” is my way of helping to reduce these figures and ensure that more women go on to have a normal pregnancy, giving birth to a healthy baby . I feel this is a real worthwhile cause, so if you can help me by making a donation I would be really grateful.
