Big Fun Run Edinburgh 2009 · 3 October 2009 ·

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is the UK’s leading charity representing and supporting half a million adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children and young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), through our helpline, information services, research and campaigns.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the 5k "fun" run round Arthurs Seat to raise funds for NRAS in memory of my father-in-law.

He succumed to a very aggressive, rare form of rheumatic arthritis which affected his lungs. Through his experience we learned that there is no cure for RA and that all that can be done is to try various treatments in the hope they might releave the symptoms.

I hope you can help me raise funds for this worthy cause.
