Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page to donate to Epilepsy.

Since January I've been treading the trainers much more regularly than I ever have before - completing around 1,200 miles of pure running training (almost every other session I've been around Arthur's Seat....so yes, I can nearly draw the scenery from memory now, almost down to the last shrub...!).  My longest ever organised run to date is the Paris marathon back in 2000 - so this is a huge challenge for me to do 100-miles in the Himalayan foothills, running always at over 6,600ft and up to around 12,000ft, over 5-days - not to mention nerve-racking!

I'm trying to raise money for Epilepsy - some of you will have known my Mum who had this for over 40-years of her life, and in the end it very sadly took her.
