We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page. All seven Rainsfords are running along with Alice’s friend Katy, a total of 64 km to raise funds for this great cause. What makes it all the more poignant is that each one of us running in memory of a serviceman who died in Afghanistan. We have on our sleeves the name of the man we're running to remember. We're proud to be running for L/Crl Dale Hopkins, 23, killed when his Jackal armoured vehicle was hit by an explosion and small-arms fire, Cpl Jonathan Horne,28, killed in explosion caused by IED in Sangin area, Cpl Harvey Alex Holmes, 22, Killed while providing protection to other soldiers in Helmand, Bombadier Craig Hopson, 24, killed in blast while on vehicle patrol in Lashkar , Cpl Simon Hornby,29, who died in an explosion while on foot patrol in Nad Ali,Marine Richard Hollington, 23, who died in hospital after being injured in a blast in Helmand, Rifleman Aminiasi Toge, 26,killed in explosion while on foot patrol in Gereshk area and Senior Aircraftman Ryan Tomlin, 21,from Hemel Hempstead who was shot dead during an insurgent attack while on a routine patrol in Nad e Ali.
