<p>As you may know, we are hoping to take part in the Ayrshire Hospice Rockie mountain trek 2011 - This is a 9 day challenge that starts on the 28th September with 6 days of this adventure spent treking! We do need to raise a significant amount of money to allow us to take part and we are hoping to 'host a series of events' over the coming months to help us do this! We will keep you posted once these are arranged!</p>

<p>As many of you will know the Ayrshire Hospice is a charity very close to our hearts and we are hoping to raise this amount of money in memory of our much loved and very sadly missed mum and sister Issy. We will be forever grateful to all the staff at the hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Isobel.</p>

<p>The Ayrshire Hospice, located in Ayr, provides Specialist Palliative Care for people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses and support for their families and carers across Ayrshire.</p>
<p>All hospice care is provided at no cost whatsoever to patients or their families and, although Ayrshire and Arran Health Board contribute to the care costs, they have to raise £3.8m annually from voluntary sources.</p>
<p>This is a huge task faced by the fundraising team but their drive and energy, combined with the enthusiasm and generosity of the people of Ayrshire, strive to ensure that Hospice care and services continue.</p>
