Story
Geoff and I will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. I did have a long text here about why we are doing it but unfortunately it has disappeared :-(
My father and his family have suffered with heart related issues. It is such a common thing and heart disease snatches loved ones away from us leaving people devastated. Sudden Cardiac Death is responsible for 3 million deaths per year worldwide.
At Emerald Group, we lost the Chairman of Emerald Publishing - Martin Fojt - to a Sudden and fatal heart attack in February 2014.
Both Emerald Group and Heart Research UK celebrate their 50th anniversary this year. We have set ourselves a challenge to raise 50,000 for HRUK; 500 of which Geoff and I hope we can raise.
