I know that requests for sponsorship can be a real bore , but there are a lot of people in debt out there who need your help.This could happen to any of us through loss of job , illness or injury . It can happen suddenly.

 I am running in the New York  Marathon on Novemebr 1st .It is amazing to have a place but it is a present from my sons for  my significant birthday , this year .NYM is oversubscribed by thousands of people each year. So as an appreciation of the good futune I have, to have family and to run in this great city, I want to help other people who are struggling with debt.It will be my first time in New York , so a great way to see the sights .Knowing you have sponsored me will just make me complete 26 + miles (42K)  even when the doubts and aches seem overwhelming.

Christians against Poverty works with local churches to help anyone reschedule their debts and help with a smaller budget . It negotiates  with those owed money for a fair solution and stops them harrassing those in total despair over debt. It has helped many people on the brink of suicide, house repossession,  addiction and family breakdown.It gives hope  and a solution .
