Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
SNAPPY has been a lifeline for us for the past 6 years since we moved to York. The Easter and Summer schemes mean that I can continue to work through the holidays without taking too much unpaid leave and the Saturday scheme gives me time to do all the stuff I can't do during the week when work etc. get in the way! Adam loves going to SNAPPY and is always tidying up when I go to pick him up - why can't he do that at home?
I am doing Jane Tomlinson's Run For All, 10k in York on 1 August 2010 in aid of SNAPPY. Having completed the run in 1 hour 14 minutes last year (2009) I am hoping to beat that time and complete the run in under 1 hour 10 minutes.
For anyone who would like to come and support me, and the other runners (there'll be 5000 of us), the run starts at 9am from the Knavesmire and goes up Bishopthorpe Road into town, does a little circuit and then goes back down to the Knavesmire.
