Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, it's that time of year when John has decided that we need to have a cycling goal to work towards!  This year it is to complete a 50 mile ride in aid of Parkinson's UK with our merry band of SABLE riders (Scorton Cycling Group set up last year).  Several members of the group have relatives/ friends who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's and it always seems to me to be a charity that doesn't often get the limelight.  So go on, reduce your guilt for not joining us on the ride and give us your dosh today, whatever you've got we'll have!

I've secured some funding from Ultimate U (!) who are going to sponsor the event refreshments and t-shirts so together we can raise the profile of this worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks again, and I promise a gallery of pics for your amusement once complete!
