I am now back after the most amazing experience of my life.  The trek was tough but great and so much fun.  Thank you to my fellow trekkers for your company, laughter and inspiration.

My chosen charity was the Genesis Appeal which is the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to preventing breast cancer.  The money raised will go towards the final £20,000 required to fund the purchase of saliva DNA testing kits, each costing £11,  for the Procas Study. The Procas study is a major new research project aimed at predicting breast cancer risk for women.  The study is the first of its kind in the UK and could have a major impact in predicting and preventing breast cancer in the future.
