Maggie's Centres - Glasgow Night Hike · 17 September 2010 ·

Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need. www.maggiescentres.org

Story

Maggie’s Night Hike comes to Glasgow for the first time, and as three year veterans of Maggie’s gruelling Monster Bike and Hike, the Fleet Alliance team are looking forward to supporting Maggie’s at a more leisurely pace.

The Glasgow Night Hike takes walkers on a 10 mile tour of the city with unparalleled access to some of the best buildings Glasgow has to offer. The night kicks off with an opening party under the famous Cloisters at Glasgow University. A night time tour of the latest exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art followed by a tour of Kibble Palace at the Botanic Gardens are just two of the locations on what is shaping up to be a surreal night time adventure.

If you’d like to come along and join our team we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you. Our team already consists of colleagues, friends and family so the more the merrier!

The donations we receive for this event are gratefully appreciated and ensure that Maggie's can continue to expand their centres across the UK and provide the much needed support for anyone affected by cancer, whether be directly or someone close to you.
