We provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. Hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Story

Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page :)

Kim and I have joined the Mahuuusive bike ride, 'Ride for Precious Lives 2010' for South West Children's Hospice. This involves cycling from St. Austell in Cornwall to Bristol over three days. That's 80 miles of cycling a day along tumbling hills...very large hills apparently and A LOT of saddle sore!

We are taking part to raise as much money as possible to help all the wonderful children that are supported by Children's Hospice South West and hopefully enable the hospice to reach even more children in our area. This Hospice is the only one in the South West giving vital support and care to these children with life-limiting conditions. They not only support the child in need, but also provide a sanctuary for all the family, where they can forget their worries and be a family again.

There are over 1000 children in need in the South West, however the hospice only manages to care for 400 of these children and so desperately needs your donations. Your donation will enable more palliative care, emergency care and planned respite for all the children and their families out there that aren't being supported.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please instead of buying that delicious chandos latte (made by Fleur), or those beautiful Kurt Geigers donate now and help make big wonderful changes to these short but extremely precious lives.
