A facebook friend of mine has had the fabulous idea of raising money for a selected charity by hiking up Mt. Snowdon in Flip Flops! I'm always up for something a bit different...... So the Charity I have chosen to raise money for is 'Friends of Forest Holme' which is very close to my heart as my Lovely Dad sadly passed away here 18th December 2009.
The staff at Forest Holme were super nice and done such a great job in looking after him and my family right up until the end. They also still offer support, which is why I am so eager to raise money.
Please check out the website, as throughout the year they also have some brilliant fund raising events such as book sales, raising money through recycling; Stamps, foreign coins, Printer Cartridges.
