The money I raise through doing the Royal Parks Half marathon will be split equally with Home-Start UK and my local branch Home-Start Grantham.

Home-Start is a charity which offers support to young families. They provide trained volunteers, who are parents themselves, to help and support families. Volunteers visit families in their own home providing friendship and practical help to give children the best possible start in life. Families can be referred to Home-Start by a variety of local agencies at the family's request, or they can refer themselves if they so wish. Home-Start also run Family Support Groups specially dedicated to supporting families with children who have additional needs.

I have seen Home-Start produce great results over the years even through times where funding and vounteers have been hard to come by. Thus, every pace and every mile of this half marathon is worthwhile. Please dig deep to help me support such a worthy cause.
