Asalaamulaikaum/Hello...
Firstly accept our heartfelt thanks for taking the time to come and visit our page.. Your support is greatly appreciated by all of us and also the charity - SKT welfare...
This fundraising project is set up to raise money for those people in Syria in Ramadhan 2015. The conditions in Syria are of one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with the blood shed rising daily and showing no signs of ceasing. The people of Syria have lost everything, their houses, their property and even their right to basic necessities like food and water. Furthermore, with ramadhan around the corner. Many of these people will be fasting, and no one deserves to fast on an empty stomach and not have anything to open their fast with. Ramadhan is a month to reflect on how blessed we are to have everything we need, and to think of those who don't even have the necessities in life, making this a perfect opportunity to donate..
So we are raising money for food packs that will be delivered to Turkey for the Syrians...! Each food pack will contain rice, lentils, pasta, salt, tomatoes paste, oil and other essentials and costs only £35 to feed a family of 5 comfortably for 15 days in sha Allah. That's half the month of ramadhan being covered for a family for only £35!
May you all be rewarded for your generosity...
Their (acceptance) of guidance is not your responsibility. It is Allah Who awards guidance whom He wills. And whatever wealth you give away (as charity donation) goes to your own benefit. It is not appropriate for you to spend but for Allah’s pleasure alone. And whatever you spend of your wealth, (its reward) will be paid back to you in full and you shall not be treated unjustly. (Al-Baqarah 2:272)
Any amount of money that is given in charity will never decrease a person's wealth, as promised by Allah aza wajjal..! SubhanAllah...!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
