Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Clover's JustGiving page.

Clover was a remarkable woman - kind, caring and compassionate and a wonderful friend, wife and mother. She was incredibly bright and intelligent and loved writing and drama. Clover was wise too and hugely supportive of her friends - so often the person to go to in a crisis or for good advice. She was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare degenerative neurological condition, aged 11 and used a wheelchair from her teens. This didn't stop her though, very little did! She worked for a year in South Africa and loved to travel.

In 2008 she married Raf and had their lovely daughter Flora in 2009. Clover absolutely loved being a mum!

Sadly in 2011 her health deteriorated. Her heart began to fail and in February 2012 she passed away with her family by her side.

Clover had a strong voice in the ataxia community and was keen for money be raised to provide support and fund research in this area.
