Me and my family want to give something back to an amazing charity who supported my Nanna and family through a difficult time. My Nanna was diagnosed with bowel cancer and no matter how poorly she was she never once thought of herself. She fought for 18 months even though the doctors only gave her a few weeks to live. 

Nanna spent time at LOROS when things got a little too much for her and Grandad and they ensured that when the time came that Nanna was able to be at home with family. LOROS supported my Nanna and my family and was always there when needed no matter how small the need was. 

My Nanna lost her battle on 11th October 2011 at home watching deal or no deal with her family around her. She is an inspirational woman who fought to the end, never letting the cancer get her down. 

If LOROS Hospice wasn't available for my Nanna I don't know how we would have managed as a family with the difficult situation of someone you love so much having a life-limiting illness.
