<p>On January 1st 2012 I'm going to go a little crazy and take part in the Loony Dook</p>
<p><span>Loony Dook, the annual splash in the River Forth in the shadow of the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge. We'll join in the Grand Parade and make our way along Queensferry’s High Street to dook in the freezing Forth under the gaze of the iconic Forth Bridges.</span></p>
<p>Whilst I'm mad enough to do this anyway it would be great if you could sponsor me to do it and make the frostbite worthwhile.</p>
<p>The charity I'm doing this for is Sundowns. Sundowns supports families in Wirral who have children with downs syndrome. This charity is especially close to my heart because my little nephew, who will be 8 weeks old when I do the dook, has downs syndrome. Sundowns are the local charity who are providing support to my brother and family.</p>
