Hello Lovely People,
As some of you know I have been doing silly things recently like walking to work and back (about 18 miles round trip) and running up and down big hills in Brighton, in a bid to train for the 24 peaks challenge in the Lake District.
Whats that I hear you cry?! Well . . . . . its ambitious, its beautiful and its definitely going to be a challenge as I got pulled off the reserves list into the real team on Wednesday! for a long distance charity walk that I am going to do next weekend.
To help give me some more incentive (other than chocolate that is!) to complete 24 peaks in 24 hours over 32 miles of tough terrain, I would love it if you and yours will kindly sponsor me a pound or two to complete the challenge along with my 7 other team mates.
The last time I did a sponsored event I was dressed as a mermaid swimming between Brighton piers!! I cant promise you any fancy dress this time but as a possible one off, it would mean a great deal if you could find some loose change to support our efforts. We're all doing our best to raise as much as we can for the 13 chosen beneficiaries of the fundraising which include:-
The Golden Lion Children's Trust, NSPCC, Outreach 3 Way, St Catherine's Hospice, Sussex Air Ambulance, Sussex Community Foundation, the lovely Sussex Wildlife Trust (who I work for, and in whose name I'm doing the walk), The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy, The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre Business Community Partnership, Crawley Community & Voluntary Service, The Rocking Horse Appeal & Young Enterprise South East.
If you prefer to donate by text, you can text the amount you want to sponsor to number 70070 with the text FRAN 68 in the message.
Thanks Bucketloads and Bundles for your support
If you know of anyone else who you think would like to support these charities then please feel free to forward this email on to them - any contributions to the team are welcomed very much.
Thanks guys :)

Fran is a 38 year old ecologist who spends most of her time messing around in rivers looking for otter spraint! and trying to help restore our damaged rivers and wetlands. In her spare time (thankfully) she likes to walk as well as cycle, to travel and forage, and to paint and do permaculture,
