No seriously guys. I am running the Bath Half Marathon in 2010 in aid of Dorothy House Hospice. Its a local charity that helps over 1,500 families a year affected by cancer, motor neurone disease and other life threatening conditions, either in their own homes or at the hospice in Winsley. To ensure that patients have the best quality of life possible, Dorothy House provides pain and symptom relief, respite for carers, emotional and spiritual support and day care.
This year alone Dorothy House will need over £3 million to maintain the services they proved. The majority of which will come from donations. So come on guys dig deep and give as much as you can! Anything would be amazing....even if i only help one family from doing this it's one family who's life will be made a little easier!
