My story
On 22nd of July 2012, I will be taking part in an Ironman triathlon, in Bolton, Lancs. This involves 2.4 mile swim in "open water" (aka, freezing cold reservoir), 112 mile cycle ride and 26.2 mile (yes, a marathon) run and must be completed in no more than 17 hours. This lunacy has been inspired by a team - Team True Spirit - of incredible people, all of whom have been wounded whilst serving in the armed forces. I will be relying on their youth, fitness, humour and courage to get me through. Your donations to Help for Heroes will be greatly appreciated.
