I am participating in an organised event called MAGstock to raise money for the very worthy British Liver Trust which is a charity close to my heart.  My friend's mum lived with a rare liver disease called PSC for 16 years and last year developed cholangiocarcinoma, bile duct cancer, which when combined make the cancer very difficult to detect and treat.  She died within 6 weeks of becoming ill at just 60 years old.  The British Liver Trust has agreed to ring fence any money raised to support some research into earlier diagnosis.

The event includes a 50 and 22 mile cycle ride as well as a 10 mile run which I will be doing.  Obviously any donation you are able to make will go a long way towards helping with the much needed research.
