Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the 2 week 2019 school Easter holidays, I am escorting 3 young children as they walk the 79 mile Great Glen Way, stretching from Fort William to Inverness. We are booked into backpacking hostels along the route.
The three amazing children:
Penny is 11 years old & has a rare genetic condition called Turner Syndrome. This is a lifelong medical condition & Penny is registered disabled. This young lady is incredible & is a real inspiration to all who meet her. This is her toughest challenge to date. She is also my daughter. The charity that we are raising money for is the Turner Syndrome Support Society. This charity has been a vital lifeline for us, especially in the early days of Penny’s diagnosis.
Dominic is 10 years old & he is Penny’s brother (my son). He is also registered as a young carer for Penny & he is my absolute rock.
Charlie is 10 years old & he is Dominic’s best mate.
In addition to raising money & awareness of Turner Syndrome, we are also committed litter pickers on all the walks we do & we will be litter picking along the entire route.
Kindest regards
Fran
