Please help Just4Children raise £95,000 to save Kyra's leg from amputation and change her life #StepWithKyra

Story

Kyra is in need of limb saving surgery which is unfortunately not available on the NHS. As a team effort to help raise funds for her next operation, we are putting in some climbing mileage towards reaching the summit of Olympus Mons (the tallest mountain in the Solar System).

As a duo, Francesca and Bryn will be climbing 3000m of the total goal, an equivelant of approximately 300 indoor routes at High Sports Brighton Climbing Gym. Taking it in turns to belay and climb, we hope this is a tiring yet doable goal.

Francesca says; “After having limb surgery abroad almost 5 years ago after a rock climbing accident myself, I can personally say, the quality and care I received was remarkable, but very costly. Not only did they put together a near severed foot, but I was able to walk, work and climb again within three months. I hope for Kyra to be able to have as much success with her surgery abroad.”

Bryn says; “I was inspired by Kyra’s story. Working as a scaffolder going up and down structures all day keeps me physically fit, but to continuously climb all day with little break plus a height target to reach is going to be hard going, I’m looking forward to the challenge. Also I get to beast Francesca and stare at her butt.’
