My story
In a haze of madness, I have decided to run the London Marathon in
April 2012. I'm still riding on a crest of naivety and optimism - the
realisation of the 2 hour runs after work in the cold and the rain
hasn't kicked in yet. Neither has the thought that I will soon be
spending most of my weekends nursing my aching bones and eating
endless bowls of pasta!
So before all that doom and gloom kicks in I'm hoping you can all help
me on my way with my fundraising.
I am running for a very small charity called Interact Worldwide. No,
they're not a mobile phone company (!) but an organisation doing great
things in developing countries to help educate women about sexual
health and maternity services.

I'm really excited about running for this charity - they have little
money to advertise for donations and fundraising and they really rely on the money raised via efforts such as the marathon.
I will be doing various fundraising bits and bobs over the coming
months, but if you would like to give an early donation I'd be ever so
grateful. That way when I corner you with my jingly fundraising tin you can tell me to get lost!
And instead of buying me a festive drink, you can just put the price of a pint to my marathon efforts.
