Story
Chris Smith and I are getting back on our bikes this year to support the British Red Cross Syria Crisis Appeal.
Fresh from our Olympic training (well, we saw Bradley on the telly), we are setting off on the weekend of the 11th of May for the wilds of Lincolnshire and Norfolk to cycle150 miles of the Sustrans North Sea Route 1 to Kings Lynn. After which, knees permitting, I am venturing onwards a further 200 miles into deepest Suffolk and Essex and then onto London.
In recognition of this mad venture into the uncharted territories east of the A1, Chris and I are asking you to give what you can to support the the amazing work of the Red Cross in Syria. Their brave volunteers on the ground are risking their own lives on a daily basis to provide life saving ambulance services, food and water to this war ravaged country.
Please give what you can to support the Red Cross and their unceasing efforts to relieve the terrible suffering of the people of Syria.
