My story

I've done it!!! Finished the Marathon with a time of 4 hours, 57 minutes and 50 seconds. My new trainers saw me round the course with only one blood blister to show for my efforts!

Thank you to all of you that have already pledged money, but there is still a chance for those who have not yet donated to do so, to help raise much needed funds for the CVOC.

As a former Chairman of Child Victims of Crime, I am passionate about the charity. By donating to CVOC, your money will directly benefit many children who have been victims of crime.  Year on year CVOC have supported young victims of crime and the money you have donated will, amongst other things, fund trips and outings for the children. These trips provide fond memories, which is a clear contrast to the unfortunate circumstances of their past.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the CVOC and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
