Story

Thanks for visiting the Fabstinent Five's fundraising page.

JoJo RoseAmy O'Leary, Frank O'Leary, Garry McDougall and Arthur Burrows have joined together to run the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon on the 6th of October (in 10 days!!... leaving it a bit late we know!). Four of us have never run 12 miles before and Arthur only once so it should be a gruelling physical endeavour for all concerned and well worthy of your sponsorship.

We have decided to raise money for the wonderful charity Macmillan Cancer Support, who have supported so many people through the toughest times in their lives. They hold a special meaning for us and we know just how important their work is for the 100s of 1,000s of people who have had or are dealing with cancer, as well as the tremendous wider support they give to friends and families of patients across the UK. There really is no better cause to raise money for or to give money to.

So friends, we know after a glorious summer pockets may be shallow but please give whatever you can and between you all hopefully we can raise a bit of money and contribute to something truly life changing for so many.

Thank you so much and wish our smoke-addled lungs as much luck as you can muster!! (ambulances on standby)

The Fabstinent Five.
