Update,

Race was run in 1:12

I thought this was much better than last year and thanks for all the donations.

I recieved an additional £30 in offline donations, which makes a respectable contribution to all our fellow staff.

I am due to do the run to the beat half marathon at the end of September urrgh!!

I must be glutton for punishment.

I was diagnosed with bipolar in 1996 and have been up and down like a rubber ball ever since. It's a lot better since I married my wonderful wife Laura but I did have a really bad patch of depression early on, during which I recieved an abrupt letter and an empty pay packet telling me I was no longer entitled to sick pay. Thankfully the Civil Service Benevolent Fund was there to help me. I have never forgotten, and may not have been here to write this if they hadn't helped me through that very difficult period.

I started fund raising a little late this year due to my easily distracted nature. Might be a bit ambitious, but I'm sure you guys will back me ;0)

Thanks for popping past and wish me luck for the race.

If you want to see me stagger across the line it's on the 10th July and here's the official site;
