In October 2015 I will be trekking 67km over five days through the foothills of the Himalayas with a group from the RUH Forever Friends Appeal, raising funds to help build a pioneering new Cancer Centre for the Royal United Hospital in Bath. The aim is to create a Cancer Centre which will create a highly beneficial healing environment. The Centre will both transform the care of cancer patients and their families, and provide a model of a care that can be replicated elsewhere by similar hospitals.

My family, along with many others I know have sadly been touched by cancer, it is an ongoing fight for many people and by building this new cancer centre, we can support people and perhaps make things a tiny bit better. Please donate, for those who are fighting and those who may have to fight in the future.
