Story

Hello! How are you? Ah glad to hear it.

Now nicities are out of the way, let's get down to business.

In the Summer 2012 myself and a few others from Sheffield Uni will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. For those anoraks among you, or just those that need to be wowed, the climb will be 5,895m or 19,431ft over 6 days through a range of terrains from jungle to glacier. Mt. Kili (to those in the know) is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest freestanding mountain in the world!!

So in short, it's going to be tough. Very tough.

The charity I am fundraising for is called Dig Deep (www.digdeep.co.uk). It's a charity run by students and graduate volunteers that aims to provide clean water, gas and electricity to communities in Kenya. So far they have helped over 20,000 people, and the money I raise will go on to help even more people. So a worthy cause I think you'd agree.

Over the course of the year I will be fundraising, running half marathons, embarrassing myself, pretty much everything necessary to meet my massive target.

Anything that you contribute will be greatly appreciated, no matter how small.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thankyou x
