Story

Hi ,Thankyou for logging on to my justgiving page .Following last years Coast to Coast run when I raised £3835 ,thanks to the brilliant support from all my friends family and sponsers and everyone who took part in the charity pub crawl,my mind turned to a new challenge for 2012. I am going to attempt to complete the Edinburgh Marathon ,and the 3 peaks (Ben Nevis/Scafell Pyke/Snowden) in a combined time of 24 hours. Its a tough challenge and a big ask but its for a great cause.

JDRF are a fantastic charity dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes .Type 1 affects 300000 people in the UK ,26000 of them are children. JDRF are getting nearer every day to finding a cure. I was motivated to run for JDRF after my partner Caroline who has suffered with type 1 for over 10 years was rushed into intensive care with a severe attack of diabetic keto-acidosis.

I really appreciate your support especially as so many of you have supported me in my previous fundraising efforts.

MANY THANKS

FRANK
