After competing in last year’s St. James’s Place Triathlon, Franklyn Financial Management has decided to enter a team again this year to try and raise vital funds for Hope & Homes for Children a charity that is making a real difference to the lives of orphaned and abandoned children across Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.

Andy, Charlotte, Howard and James will be completing in the triathlon on Sunday 4 October. This year we are all determined to get fit for the challenge and to beat our times from last year.  The triathlon will be no easy feat, a 400m swim followed by a 20km cycle and a 5km run.

Hopefully all our hard work will lead to better pictures this year!

We have pledged to raise £2000 and would like to ask you for your support. It would be really great if you were able to sponsor us, every penny really does help so any donation however large or small is much appreciated.

Cost Examples

Below are a few examples of how your fundraising efforts will help change children’s lives forever:

Just £12 could bring a smile to the faces of two children in institutions across Central and Eastern Europe by buying them their first ever toy. It’s hard to believe that many children growing up in institutions have never had a toy of their own.

£25 could enable us to send two children to school by helping to pay their school fees or provide the necessary uniform, books and equipment to put them on the road to a brighter future.

£100 could enable us to train a volunteer to provide day-to-day support for child-headed households in Africa. Our volunteer will be on hand to help with homework, teach practical skills such as cookery or agriculture and provide the simple things we take for granted like encouragement and advice.

Company Matching

By raising money through the St. James's Place Foundation it will mean all donations will be matched pound for pound before they are sent on to Hope and Homes for Children meaning that any donation you make will go even further!
