We did it!   The Great Wall of China has been conquered and what an amazing experience it was....the trekking was tough going at times but the scenery was spectacular and we all had a great time with our fellow charity trekkers.  The accommodation varied from very basic on the walk to nice and comfortable in Beijing...the food was extremely tasty...just ask Malky about the centipede!

Most importantly we have absolutely smashed our fundraising target thanks to all of your donations.  

Thank you to absolutely everyone - for those who have so generously donated their money, their time and their enthusiasm which have enabled us to exceed all of our expectations.  We have been amazed at the support of everyone and are so grateful and appreciative for this. 

We recently met with a local Help the Aged/Age Concern representative to discuss how the money can best be used.  We are very keen that local people reap the benefits from your generosity.
