Raising funds for Melanoma Research

Story

Over 20 years ago I met David Hadcroft when we started working as graduates in London and then Hong Kong where David met his wife Shiona. This Sunday I will be running the half marathon for the 4th time  in support of the RoyaI Marsden Hospital where Shiona continues to be treated for advanced melanoma.

To raise awareness of one of the fastest growing cancers in the UK (but one which is preventable in about 90% of cases), Shiona has been writing a blog and you can follow her story at:

http://shomelanoma.com/

Any donations, no matter the amount, will be of great encouragement to me to get to the finish line.

All funds raised will form part of Shiona's wider fundraising initiative as part of 'Team Shomelanoma' and will be allocated to her oncologist, Dr. James Larkin's on-going research fund.

Support The Royal Marsden and you're investing in a future beyond cancer for you and for everyone you know. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. For a future beyond cancer.
