Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·

The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

Story

Hello

I am running the Brighton Marathon on the 14th of April with Peter Coakley, Ed Clark and Ellis Riddle for both the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and the Williams Syndrome Foundation. Unfortunately it isn't possible to link both charities to one page, so there is a page for both, whichever you donate to is up to you, but if they work out level that would be fantastic.

A very close friend of my 5-year old sisters has been diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, their friendship is invaluable. The charity really needs the money that you could donate to go towards research and treatment for the syndrome.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thankyou for reading and please donate as much as you can for the wonderful charities.
