Hi all, as most of you may know or have heard that I will be trekking to Mount Everest base camp in March 2013 raising money for charity with an aim to raise £6,000. The money will be used by to help children across the world, helping to provide communities with clean, safe water as well as helping with the current Syria appeal. 100% of money raised will go to Islamic Relief. I am funding all parts of the trip.

 

The accommodation will be mainly camping conditions as well as basic lodges. On the trek I will travel through Kathmandu, Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dingboche and Gorakshep. I will spend 15 days trekking approximately 6 - 8 hours a day at very high altitude sometimes at over 17,000 feet.

 

This expedition is NOT a holiday and presents many risks and dangers for participants so please donate generously. Receipts from the charity can be provided on request. ·         Trekking from the south side of Everest in Nepal

·         Accent of Kala Patthar (black rock) at 18,192 feet.
