Our baby was delivered to us fast asleep at 4.23am on the 7th October 2011. He is so very beautiful and the picture that you see are indeed his gorgeous feet, no bigger than an inch. People say how cruel life has been to us, but they are very wrong, we have been sent a very precious gift. Our son is 100% pure, he never had to breath the toxic air that we did and our son very much had a personality, whilst I carried him he loved monster munch, curry and hated being in the bath.
The midwifes at Poole Hospital were second to none and deserve the recognition that the media fails to. They are unable to drink a hot drink whilst on duty and are given an unpaid half an hour break for every 12 hour shift, whilst dealing with all the new lives entering this world, and they do so with the upmost respect and care. So next time you think you've had a bad day at work, guess again.
After our sleeping baby was delivered, we were introduced to a charity called S.P.R.I.N.G, they have a suite in the hospital, where both Luke and I were able to spend some time, in the suite is a living room, double bedroom and en suite bathroom, thus enabling us to not need to leave the room or be placed on a ward which was not appropriate for us. We have a midwife from the charity visit us, one who knows what we are dealing with having dealt with it herself.
Please don't be upset for us, please donate how ever much you can, even if it is only a pound.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our family and friends for all their love, support and cups of tea.
All our love Leah, Luke and Freddie xxx
