The University of St Andrews Charities Campaign holds events throughout the year to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Care, UNICEF, and nightline. We also support students to fund-raise for other charitable causes. More information: www.charities-campaign.org.uk

Story

At the beginning of this year, we set up Your600th at the Students' Association here in St Andrews. As President, I wanted to find a way of both giving all students a chance to celebrate our anniversary, as well as finding an opportunity to challenge our problems.

The Students' Association Bursary Fund is all about students giving back to the community that supports them. We have a lot of will to change accessibility to a St Andrews education, but face challenges, like high costs of living in a cramped town.

That's why the Bursary Fund, proudly owned by the Students' Association and managed in partnership with the University, will endow an accommodation bursary of £500 to any student for the duration of their study, where the only barrier to them studying here is financial.

So, donate please! Running is not really something I have ever done so it's a very touch personal challenge. 26.2 miles to be exact!
