Thank you for visiting Chris Galvin and Fred Sirieix's fundraising page. On Sunday 12th September we will be taking up the challenge of running the Medoc Marathon in South-Western France to raise money for Galvin's Chance. This will be the first marathon for both of us and we only have one month to train, so we are not expecting things to be easy!
Nonetheless all the money we can raise will go to a very important cause. Galvin's Chance, run in partnership with Hilton in the Community Foundation, Springboard Charitable Trust and Alexander Rose's STOP campaign, will be giving disadvantaged young Londoners the chance to train on an apprenticeship scheme helping them to start a career in the hospitality industry. The training will include courses at Westminster Kingsway College and work experience at some of London's top restaurants including our own Galvin at Windows.
The first group of young people have already been identified and will start their training next month. Any support you can give will really help to change young lives.
