A race of endurance; A test of friendship; An epic physical battle. #FRENCHvDAEE is a competition like no other. On June 30th, Wasing Park, plays host to the ultimate test of mental strength and endurance in a 24 hour race. With a highly ambitious target of 150km to hit in this time between us, this will truly push us to beyond our limit.

We have chosen to run for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. Sir Bobby Robson is someone who has had a huge influence on our lives. The man was and still is a role model to both of us; a true gentleman who not a bad word has been said about. The legacy that he has left with the Foundation is a representation of him as a person. Sir Bobby fought cancer five times before sadly passing in 2009. The Foundation focuses on the early detection and treatment of cancer and the clinical trials of new drugs that will eventually beat it. Some cancers are difficult to diagnose but many can be successfully treated, providing treatment starts early. The charity has equipped the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre and has funded two specialist research posts. We are both extremely passionate about this charity and appreciate any support. Every donation goes a long way.

Although we'd like to beat each other, we know what we are getting ourselves into will look after ourselves! The most important thing is doing our bit for a fantastic cause which does so much pivotal work to lessen the destructive power of cancer. We appreciate any donation so much, no amount is too small.
