Rotary Easter Quarter Marathon · 19 April 2014

Autism Unlimited believes in a world of possibilities for people living with autism.

Story

Team Frettens are donning their running shoes once again to race 6.5 miles around the beach at Boscombe and the cliffs at Southbourne.

The team is made up of Matthew, OonaghHelen, Malky, Clare, Rachael and Mandy. They have been in training (look out for high vis jackets racing around Christchurch after work!) and now they need your support!!

It's all in aid of the firm's charity of the year Autism Wessex - an amazing charity that helps hundreds of local families. To give you an idea of how your donations could help:

  • £17 - will fund a two-hour swimming session for an adult with autism, benefiting from the enjoyable exercise and the sensory experience of being in water
  • £55 - will pay for a weighted blanket
  • £120 - will fund one drop-in session for adults with autism to meet others, make new friends, get vital information and the support they need to show them that they are not alone

We hope that you can help to support us in raising money for this fantastic charity and maybe come along to cheer on team frettens on Easter Saturday!
