Hi everyone my name is Freya and I am in my fourth year of university. This year I finally took the plunge and signed up to fundraise for The Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP)

This is a fantastic charity that has been working in west Kenya for over ten years introducing sustainable nutrition programmes to combat malnutrition and keep primary school children in school, run centres for street children to shelter and get access to food, feeding centres and fund repair and extensions to local schools...... in a region containing Kenya's largest slum and highest HIV rates. 

The charity improves the lives of children so that they have a chance at a better future starting with two meals a day and basic education and I will see the work of the charity first hand this summer.

I have always wanted the challenge of a long distance cycle ride and with your help I can complete my second challenge to get as close to my fundrasing target of £800 for the Kenyan Orphan Project as possible.
