We are putting together a charity event for Juan Carlos Garcia (as well as other leukaemia sufferers around the world), who is a Honduran International footballer who plays for Wigan Athletic, who was sadly diagnosed with a form of leukaemia back in February this year. We hope this event will help inspire him to keep fighting.

To show our support, a group of Wigan Athletic supporters have put together a charity match against Wigan Athletic Legends such as Neil Rimmer, to raise awareness for leukaemia as well as money for Leukaemia CARE.

The charity match will be at Ashton Town AFC on Friday 31st July 2015 where gates will open at 18:00. Tickets are £2 for adults and free for Under 5's. They will be on sale from Friday 12th June 2015 or if available, pay on the day.

We will be selling tickets at pre-season friendlies (Altrincham 14th July and Southport 18th July) and in the town centre's. We will be posting on our facebook page:

For information where we will be on the day should you be interested. If local, we will be more than happy to sell tickets on your doorstep should that be the most convenient for you and you're happy for us to do so.
