Furqan Naeem's - 100 Orphans Appeal Over the course of 2012, my aim is to raise enough funds to sponsor at least 100 orphaned children in to education. I will be working in partnership with <a title="pennyappeal.org" href="http://www.pennyappeal.org/index.html?5270c475a57ca8f6=5MOLwNDdxufGzcR87un93QqgxZ8V7-_hrJhrpBc_MCQ">pennyappeal.org</a> which aims to relieve poverty and advance the education of orphaned and destitue children. Every Friday I will be posting details, on my <a title="Fergie's Facebook Page" href="http://www.facebook.com/furqan.naeem">facebook</a> and <a title="Furqan Naeem on Twitter" href="https://twitter.com/#!/furqan_naeem">twitter</a> page, of how you can get invovled and be part of a joint effort, so that together we can help to support these children iA. The prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H) said "I and the guardian of an orphan will be in the Garden like these two." (He crossed his two fingers).   Charity is an obligation upon us all and I hope we can all take part in the blessings of Friday Jummah. "Orphan sponsorship is not just about providing food and shelter. Our orphan programme provides education to help orphaned children develop the skills they need to make positive changes in their lives, and break free from poverty." "From as little as 50p a day you can provide a child with a whole year's education. This will pay for a child's school fees, uniform, books, stationery and school meals ensuring the child gets an education and an opportunity to thrive."
