I’m raising money for Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice not just because I work there but because I believe the hospice is a really worth while cause as it provides excellent care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families. Three years ago the hospice cared for my Mum in the last days of her life, for which I am eternally grateful. This will be my fourth London Marathon. I’m just a slow jogger but hope to achieve a personal best and finish in less than 5 hours, even though at my age I’m just grateful that I can still run! Hopefully, like a good wine, I will have improved with age and will beat the rhinoceros that overtook me last time. (Not to mention the man with one leg – I caught him up anyway!)Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
