THE WORLDS PREMIER 10KM RUN 'THE BRITISH 10KM LONDON. This is GB at it most Patriotic loads of inspring music in the heart of London and UNION JACKS everywhere.Therefore I will be running in the British 10KM in London on the 8th July 2012, as a part of the Parachute Regiment Charity Team. And again I will also be running in the two PARA 10's one in September and the other in October as a part of the challenge to complete these two races in under 100 minutes over the Catterick Training area used for P-Comany selection and then of Colchester home to 16 Air Assault Brigade.

The British PARAS are one of the Worlds Elite Regiments, and Serve Our Country with Pride and Valour no matter what the call to duty is. 30 Years ago they played a major role in liberating the Falklands and today they at the forefront in Battle Once again in Afghanistan.We have all seen the horrific injuries of war on the media and the heart ache caused to famillies when loved ones have made the ulitimate sacrifice for Queen and Country.

As a former Combat Medic I know first hand of the injuries sustained in battle all to well , and that to of the Pyschological injuries that can later manifest. I have the utmost respect for these guys and the Regimental Charity is there not only to assist older veterans of the Regiment but also those from the present of whom some will need their vital support.
